Life, the Universe, and Everything

It's at times like this we ask the important questions. Why are we here? Where are we going? Do I know where my towel is? Who's Brisbane's best boardgamer? Who would narcissistically plan a community event around their birthday? Who will accept gifts of champagne, fine port, game credit, Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters, and admiration?

It took 42 years, but turns out the answer is me! Fancy that. Come and join the Hoopiest Frood in the known universe as I celebrate turning 42 in classic fashion - Boardgames!

We'll ponder the deep questions to Life, the Universe, and Everything. There will be tears. There will be thrills. Discern the hidden makeup of things, with Concept. You'll think, Oh No, Not Again! when you're not on your friend's Wavelength. Celebrate life with Arboretum and Root. See the Universe in Space Alert! Lean on your Babelfish in Monikers and Decrypto.

This month we're playing Nature games, Universe games, and games about Life.

We bring the games, you bring yourself (and maybe a mate). Whatever ends up on the table, we'll teach you how to play — a no experience night of friendly furry fun!

Worth bringing:

• Games you want to play (optional - we've plenty)
• Drinks or snacks for yourself. Plenty of places deliver via Uber Eats, and you're welcome to use our oven or microwave.
• First time? Little nervous? Happy to have a coffee in advance, so you'll know at least one friendly face; just send us a message

Don't get a horrible pain in all the Diodes down your left side and miss this edition of Flophouse Rules, this month, for Cubs&Cardboard!
