Community Chest

September is Pride in Brisbane, and we're marking it the way we mark everything: together, a bit loudly, with someone reading the rules aloud while everyone else cheerfully ignores them.

This month the door swings wider than usual. We've asked our brother clubs along — BootCo and BrisBears — so everyone be nice! We can't let them know we're dorks.

In the spirit of Pride we'll be rallying together to beat some co-op games. Magic Maze, where nobody may speak and everybody may point furiously. Kitchen Rush, running a restaurant against the clock. Hanabi, in which you can see everyone's hand but your own, which remains the most accurate depiction of being a person we have ever found in a box. Captain Sonar, two crews, one submarine each, real time, and a great deal of shouting.

If you've been meaning to come and kept not quite doing it, this is the one to not-quite-do it at.

We bring the games, you bring yourself (and maybe a mate). Whatever ends up on the table, we'll teach you how to play — a no experience night of friendly furry fun!

Cost: Free! Nada. Bring:

• Games you want to play (optional - we've plenty)
• Drinks or Snacks for yourself
• We've plenty of places delivering via Uber Eats, you're welcome to use our oven or microwave.
• First time? Little nervous? Happy to have a coffee in advance, so you'll know at least one friendly face; just send us a message

All you have to do is grab a ticket (Hint: --> ) and show up! We really do need one from you this month — three clubs and only so many chairs, so we can't be guessing at the headcount.
